Soul Of Stardoll

Soul of Stardoll has a new look! I've just updated it today because some of the features in the last layout was not working. Here's some changes that you might want to know about the update:

Page menu: Pages are shown right under the header. There you can view partners, features, or whatever else I add.

Widgets: The widgets, except for the "Popular Posts" widget which can be found at the bottom of the site, are not able to be viewed on the homepage. You can only see them when you click on a post.

More about me: Under each post there's a intro about me. It doesn't say much, but it's a start.

Search: This time, next to posts, the search is at the bottom of the page. Until I find a way to move it, it'll be there for a while.

Changing background: A background that changes every few seconds.

Posts: Show the time, number of comments, and author. On the homepage you can mouse over the images and see a preview of it.

Clicking on the post page: You can now comment and click on links in the post. Before it didn't work, but it should now.

Another collection of Tress Up was released recently, giving us many new hairstyles. It's a special holiday collection, so let's think of it as a little gift from Stardoll.

Today's pick of the day was the Leather Trench Coat from the new Chanel Tribute store. I'm a big fan of this coat and right when I saw it, I put it in my cart. It was the best piece from this collection, hands down. And I can see why it's the pick of the day.

While reading over my old posts, I realized I liked this one so much I had to update it.

After following cycle 7 of FM-Style last month, the club where you model without posing, I decided I should do a post about Scandinavian style. I've been a fan of this styling for a while now, but I could not find ways to perfect it. But the winner of cycle 7, AudreyHepburn.,gave a accurate description of it, which I have posted above. After reading it, I realized it was style without trying. It gives you a simple and natural look. I decided to try this on my own...

10. Omaments(Stardoll probably meant Ornaments) Headpiece - SPLENDID - 10 SD

Usually people decorate the Christmas tree with Ornaments, but why not try decorating your head with it? This unique piece of jewelry is sure to put people in awe. And only for 10 SD! Now, there are some cons. This is going to be hard to style. It doesn't go with everything. Depending on how your doll looks and how he/she is dressed, it could end up looking tacky.

9. Winna Beanie - Nelly - 12 SD

The Winna Beanie is super cute and is something that can make a simple outfit look so adorable. The beanie is a light pink with two little balls of fur on the top, giving it a girly look. But if cute things don't suit you, buying it may not be a good idea. You should first make sure that it looks good on your dollie before buying it, because it'll cost you 12 SD..which I think is a bit much for a beanie.

8. Chunky Polo Sweater - Nelly - 18 SD

This sweater from Nelly goes well with the Winna Beanie, and looks very stylish. This is something I would consider buying, but then again, I am obsessed with sweaters. Still, there's a lot you can do with this. It's easy to style with jeans or a skirt, giving it two different looks. But it costs 18 SD, which isn't bad, but I guess it depends on your budget and how much you can afford to spend.

7. Beckham Faux Coat - It Girls - 26 SD

It's super cold, but here's something to keep your dollies warm! This large and furry coat is certainly something full of style. If you're going for a trendy and glamorous look, this is the coat to get. It's not that hard match, but are you really going to make it work? It wouldn't be worth it if you were to spend 26 SD on something you're barely going to wear. Be careful!

6. Demon Jacket - Bad Mod - 26 SD

There isn't only cute clothing here! This Demon Jacket, which is not just for demons, is perfect if you're going for a dark look. Even a bold look is fine. I would certainly check out this outfit. It's 26 SD, but it's from a shop that's probably not going to remain in the Starplaza for long. The thing is though, it doesn't have much to do with the holidays. If you can make it match with other items though, it's going to be a great buy.

5. Fireplace Corner - Winter Peak - 32 SD

This gorgeous piece of interior will make you suite look very stylish. It's a way to stay warm and cozy in your suite. But if you're not good at designing rooms, it may not be the best choice. It'll cost you over 30 SD, so you should be sure that you can use it. You can get inspiration by looking at other Stardollies' suite, read blogs about designing, and watch YouTube videos about Stardoll interior designing. But don't copy!

4. LE Sock - LE Decor - 36 SD

Yes, yes, this item is 36 SD...Just for a mere sock. But it's an LE Christmas item, it's from a limited store. Though when I check the, it doesn't have the number of items bar at the bottom. Is that a glitch? Or is it an item that's going to be left stores until the shop is gone? Anyway, I think it's very pretty, and will go well in a Christmas themed room. It should certainly be checked it out.

3. Sequin Patch Knit Sweater - Fallen Angel - 14 SD

Okay, so most of us has heard of ugly Christmas sweaters right? Well one of my favorite parts of Christmas are the fashionably ugly Christmas sweaters we get to wear. This sweater is so tacky, but delightfully ugly. I think it perfectly fits the theme while adding a goth touch to it. And only for 14 SD too...has to be my favorite item on the list.

2. LE Gift - LE Decor - 42 SD

Okay, 42 SD is a whole lot for a box, but one again, it's an LE item. I think it's a great LE item to buy and add to your suite. Of course, gifts around the Christmas tree are essential for my ideal Christmas.

1. LE Red Christmas Tree - LE Decor - 124 SD

This is probably out of stock by now, but what's Christmas without a tree? It's a important tradition, so I would always try to get a tree on Stardoll. It's not necessary to get this tree though. There will probably be more holiday shops later on.
